Lisa Murkowski’s Embrace Of Debunked J6 Committee Talking Points Looks Foolish Following Fani Willis’s Disqualification

Alaska United States Senator Lisa Murkowski looks even more foolish, embracing the January 6th Committee’s talk points following the disqualification of Fulton County DA Fani Willis. The Georgia Appeals Court disqualified Willis two weeks after the Fulton County Superior Court ordered Fani Willis to release her communications with the January 6th Committee.  In late March 2024, Murkowski informed CNN that she might leave the GOP over President Trump becoming the party’s nominee. Murkowski cited debunked talking points from the January 6th Committee as her reasoning for not supporting Trump. In May, January 6th Committee Ranking Member Bennie Thompson  falsely told Loomer Unleashed that the January 6th Committee provided their deleted communications with Fulton County DA Fani Willis to the House Select Committee on Oversight. In April, Fulton County DA Willis refused to answer Laura Loomer’s questions regarding her refusal to provide her communications with the January 6th Committee to the House Judiciary Committee. Last winter, J6 Committee Member Jamie Raskin said Loomer Unleashed needed “deprogramming” after we asked him why the J6 Committee had not handed over their deleted communications with Fani Willis. On Tuesday, Murkowski informed Loomer Unleashed that she was uncommitted about voting to confirm Kash Patel. It’s a shame that Murkowski embraced horrific lies that almost resulted in an American President being jailed.

Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski informed CNN in late March 2024 that she was debating leaving the Republican Party because Trump had become the GOP’s nominee. Murkowski used false talking points from the January 6th Committee to justify her hate of Trump, saying, “I don’t think it can be defended. What happened on January 6th was an effort by people who stormed the Congress to stop the election to stop it. I wish as Republicans, we had a nominee I could get behind. I just regret that our party has become the party of Donald Trump.”

Senator Murkowski’s repeated use of Fani Willis and the January 6th Committee’s false talking points looks even more foolish following Willis’s disqualification, which was ” mandated, and no other remedy will suffice to restore public confidence in the integrity of these proceedings.”

Willis’s disqualification comes two weeks after Fulton County Superior Court ordered Fani Willis to release her communications with the January 6th Committee. Last April, as Fani Willis was arriving at the National Association of Black County Officials Cocktail and “Networking” Event in Miami, Florida, Laura Loomer asked her, “Hey Fani, why have you not complied with the House Judiciary’s request for your communications with the January 6th Committee?”

Loomer Unleashed also questioned January 6th Committee members about their deleted communications with Fani Willis. J6 Committee Member Jamie Raskin said Loomer Unleashed needed “deprogramming” after we asked him, “Why did the J6 Committee delete their communications with Fani Willis?”

Raskin replied, “We didn’t, and you are a cult member.”

Following Raskin’s first snarky remark, we pointed out to him that his J6 Committee has received multiple letters from his colleagues stating the J6 Committee did delete their communications with Fani Willis.

Instead of answering the question, Raskin told us, “You need deprogramming.”

It is important to note that as she walked through the Hart Senate Office building, Loomer Unleashed asked Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski, “Hello, Senator Murkowski. Will you be voting to confirm Kash Patel as President Trump’s FBI Director?”

Senator Murkowski responded, “Sir, that is months away. I have not had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Patel. Anyone asking me for votes needs to check in with me in the new year.”

Senator Murkowski’s embrace of false “Get Trump” talking points raises significant questions about her current difficulties in supporting Trump’s nominees. Hopefully, Murkowski can put those questions to rest by supporting President Trump’s nominees.
